What are the statistics for lasting friendships from college?
I'm not sure if "lasting friendships" has been analyzed...that's a fairly whishy-washy outcome to analyze. And if it has, the statistics are going to vary *widely* based on the individuals involved.





People who, in general, are social and make friends are going to make friends in college....those who are anti-social are going to have a tougher time. People who tend to keep in touch will have lasting friendships. Those who don't, won't.





If this question was asked out of college jitters, don't worry. Make an effort to make friends, and make an effort to keep in touch, and you'll have lasting friendships.
