Is Math Analysis equivalent to Calculus or Statistics?

I took Math Analysis years ago and can't remember what the focus of study was (what an impression). Anyway, I may be applying to Med School in a few months. They require a semester of Statistics and another of Calculus. Is Math Analyis considered one of those subjects? Just wondering if they would honor it.

Is Math Analysis equivalent to Calculus or Statistics?
Sorry.

Math Analysis is equivalent to Pre-Calculus. It is a step above Algebra II and is often coupled with Trigonometry in high school classes.

FYI, Math Analysis is usually just before Stats and Calculus.

Good luck if you do apply!
Reply:Math analysis is definitely different from Statistics and Calculus is a pre-requsite to Math Analysis
Reply:Analysis is not equvavlent to either really. In analysis you are setting everything up formally so you can do calculus. But the actual calculus you do is very basic so would not be the same as a full calculus course.
