I took college algebra last semester. I still have to take elementary statistics. Should I skip a semester in between the 2 math classes? I'm afraid I will forget the Algebra stuff before taking statistics. Are they similar?

Like most studies, Mathematics benefits from practice. The two classes have similarities and you statistics studies will be easier with a firm grounding in algebra. I'd recommend you take it right away with no break - your math muscles are toned up now - don't let them atrophy!
Reply:its ok to skip as long as elementary stat is not a pre requisite of algebra...or otherwise
