Where can I find statistics about how crime is related to tinted windows on cars?

Cops are always saying "it's dangerous because we can't see whats in the car when we pull it over" really? well you can't see whats in a van either... and when you knock on a door, you can't see what's behind the door either, so that reason doesn't hold water. I want to find out how many cases there are where harm came to a cop from a car with tinted windows.

Well i live in Cleveland and acouple of yrs ago a local Cleveland cop pulled over a speeding car in down town cleveland. The car had tinted windows all around. When the cop walked up to the drivers window he was shot and killed! It was a stolen car that had not been reported yet. Probably if the windows were not tinted so much the officer would have seen the shot gun and be alive today. I,m sure his kids would have liked knowing there father!
Reply:Cops make stuff up. Ask the local or state cops to explain where they get statistics.

You gotta know it's creepy, though, not knowing if there's a gramma or a gangsta in there.
Reply:I agree with you, but I don't know any sites on information however, In florida a little girl stole a car and ran from the police in it the windows were as dark as they could get and the cops ended up shooting into the car to stop the girl from trying to run over deputies, thats why they are making laws now. But I think we should be able to have dark windows if we want. Cops can't see behind doors so what do they want next clear doors, and also the darker the window the less uv light that someone gets
