What are the statistics on people that die by their own guns then those that dont own guns?

You may want to rethink the question then withdraw it. In your confusion you have answered yourself.

What are the statistics on people that die by their own guns then those that dont own guns?
As with any "statistics question" I'll have to know what you are trying to prove before I can point you in the right direction.

The numbers, in and of themselves, do not lie. But how they are complied can change the outcome!

Trying to prove that gun ownership is inherently dangerous and should be heavily restricted or outlawed ... Check out handgun control incorporated (Jim Brady's group) or the Center for Disease Control.

Want to prove that not owning a gun is inherently dangerous? Check the NRA website for your stats.

Trying to get plain, unbiased statistics on this issue ... good luck!
Reply:I am willing to bet that more people die by their own gun than those who don't own guns for the simple fact that it is hard to die by your own gun when you don't own one.
