Who has any statistics tips for easily remembering the difference between permutations and combinations?

I read the difference and am having a hard time with them. Does anyone have any advise on how to make it a little more simple?

In permutations the order matters while in combinations it does not.

12345 and 23451 are different in permutations but the same in combinations.

Now if I wanted to know how many ways I could line up 10 people in front of the class it would be permutations. If I just wanted to pick groups of 10 for a team it would be combinations.
