Can anyone provide statistics on turnovers and how they equate to victories?

For example, how often does a team with a -5 in the turnover category win the game like the Cowboys did tonight?

Can anyone provide statistics on turnovers and how they equate to victories?
they did this a couple years ago after analyzing thousands of games-and teams that were +1 or better won 85% of the time
Reply:Romo is the X-Factor regardless if he has 20 turnovers or not like tonight. I think it gave them a wake up call. he a win is a win there still 5-0. Lets see what happens sunday. Go Cowboys. For all you haters out there, the colts beat the pats last year, and we beat the colts in our house. Well be ready.
Reply:ask Romo
Reply:Take a look at

nfl.com/history/records

It might be the wrong link but search for this in yahoo "nfl records" and it will take you to the site I am talking about.

It has all the statistics for everything in the history of the NFL. Just look in the records category for TEAMS and you will find all sorts of info from who has lost the most games in a season and then go to win the super bowl and everything.

I am sure you will find your answer. They have almost everything.
Reply:Rarely
Reply:if Dallas can win while turning it over SIX TIMES, all bets are off. Heck, I know they played BARFalo, but really, these are supposed to be PRO teams.
Reply:I don't know the statistics off hand, but it's obviously a rarity. 6 turnovers is ridiculous.
Reply:IF the NFL didn't suck so many balls at providing statistics, then perhaps this could be answered.
