I've been looking in vain for a source of statistics on Social Welfare in Britain, from about 1840-1913. I've found life expectency, infant mortality rate, and GDP/capita, but I'm struggling to find anything on Literacy and/or Education enrollment rates, or average height. I know the information exists, since we've talked about in various contexts, but I can't seem to find a database that makes any of it available.
Has anyone seen this information online?
Social Welfare Statistics for 19th Century Britain?
This is a good search engine (scholar Google) I just copied your question and got this

Maybe you ought to refine your search.
