For the Standard Normal (z) Distribution, it says to find the area to the right of z= 1.78. Then another says to find P(z%26gt;1.645).
How would I solve them?
Thank you in advance.
Statistics: What's the difference between finding the area, and the probability?
The area to the right of a z value (such as 1.78) is the probability of obtaining a sample mean equal to or higher than the test mean. P(z%26gt;1.645) is the area under the curve to the right of 1.645.
Here's a sample that may help (it's been a while since I've taken Stats) http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Statistics/...
