Income statistics, specifically what percentage of Americans make over 100K?

I am mainly interested in seeing the percentage of Americans that earn over 100K a year.

However, I would appreciate percentages of americans making over 50K, 60K ect...

Sources would be nice.

As always, children and teens, please don't reply.

Income statistics, specifically what percentage of Americans make over 100K?
It varies quite a bit, depending on

what year the stats were compiled.

Here's what googled up right away:

-----

50% make %26lt; 30k a year

40% make 30k - 100k.

9.5% make 100k to 500k.

About 55,000 make 1M/yr

About 10,000 make %26gt;10M/yr.

Doesn't sound too far off, considering the 'slop factor'

to account for massive im/emigration, volatile markets

and grossly under-reported CEO-type salaries.

A search for "per capita income" and "US demographics"

or Census might turn up a more precise answer for you.
Reply:people making 100k+ are in the top twenty percent in the usa income wise
