Where can I get a chronology of war statistics?

I am researching 1900 - 1950 and looking for a chronology of war and military action for this period that include statistical information about the level of casualties and fatalities among citizens as well as combatants. This would include civil wars, international conflicts as well as casualties from political / ideological revolution.

Where can I get a chronology of war statistics?
the 2006 World Almanac will have those answers.
